He looked at me, [a smile on his face] and asked: " Who da Hell is this Kid " ?

That's what I [JD] Asked on the 1st day of Rehearsal ...... when "this kid" strolls into the practice studio. Jeff (the bass player I had just met 15 minuets earlier) said to me:                                                                                                   "That's Evan he's only 21 but "that kid" sings pretty good"..                              Im thinking: "Oh no, here we go again another wanna-be Met'L band with a "kid" upfront that's gonna be a another "Scream-O" aka: "nu-metal" band or worse yet an Emo band?. I stopped that train of thought *Not wanting to pass judgment based on age*  Ted says: "Lets try some AC/DC [sin city] for the 1st song" & this "KID" nails the Bon Scott gritty growling voice! I'm thinking ~ "pretty cool but its just ac/dc" - Next song: Journey "Anyway you Want it" - And "THIS KID" is hitting All the Sweet notes of Steve Perry at this point I'm now thinking:  "Holy Shit!" This is no "KID" this 21yr old man - Well, he's got vocal skills and a great vocal range. Since day 1 he continues to impress me.                                                                     Come on out and listen to "This Kid" Evan belt out some Steven Tyler [AeroSmith] Vocals. I think you'll agree me ~ This kid, (no it's Evan) Is something special.             @ age 21 "this kid" - not only talks the talk,                              He certainly Walks the Walk.

In his own words:  I'm 21yrs old. I joined the band about 10 months ago   I'm working on singing & playing guitars at the same time [yes i play guitar too] I feel honored as well as lucky to be playing music beside Ted [my father]  I can sense the band "Walk the Walk" is on the rise ..... The compliments the band receives from  veteran  long time musicians lets me know~  were standing out & this is going to be something special.

AC/DC is one of my main influences - There is nothing better than Bon Scott and AC/DC to get a crowd in a party mood! - I try my best to just get (my vocals) better every day, every practice and every gig. I understand that I'm still learning but I can feel the energy from the crowd at each show. That energy drives me to continue        keep on "keeping on"                                                                                                 When I was 20 years old I was singing to the video game Rock Band. My father walked into the room and invited me to a band rehearsal since that day....We have never looked back. Like I said, We the band [I feel] Have the talent & motivation and I personally strive to make each gig better than the last.
